We have found that communication and closed feedback loops are crucial to efficient billing. Working with an outside billing agency cannot be a "black box". The billing agency must work as an extension of your internal billing department. Alta Medical Management will work closely with your staff to plan for and execute a smooth implementation of the billing system, and will work with you to identify and drive continuous improvements in the billing program.

Family Practice - 2 physicians
1. Increased collections $17.81 per visit

Specialty Surgery - 2 Physicians
1. Increased collections $92.20 per visit
2. Increased annual collections by $732, 897

Obstetrical and gynecology - 6 Physicians
1. Practice had not been paid by Medicare in 14 months
  1. We received Medicare payments within 27 days
2. Practice was undercharging on 23 seperate codes
